You will enable USSOCOM to fulfill its mission to Provide fully capable Special Operations Forces (SOF) to defend the United States and its interests and synchronize planning for global operations against terrorist networks. As a member of our team, you will partner with SOF military and civilian members to provide world-class IT services and support that connects over 60,000 users around the world in the areas of software development/maintenance, network services, security, end-user computing, and test and evaluation. Systems Analysts must be excellent analytical thinkers and problem solvers, as well as effective communicators. This position requires a broad understanding of transport, services, network defense, and experience working with associated, hardware and software systems, including their installation, maintenance, and life cycles. Systems Analysts must be self- starters with excellent organizational and listening skills and knowledgeable in industry standard hardware and software development practices to eliminate stovepipe development throughout the enterprise. Analyzing systems hardware and software problems and developing technical solutions Translating user and systems requirements into functional technical specifications Writing and maintaining detailed systems documentation, including user manuals and technical manuals Acting as a liaison between developers and end users to ensure technical compatibility and end user satisfaction Applying hardware and software engineering expertise to lead application development and testing Analyzing the architecture and quality of hardware and software systems. Requires a minimum of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, a Mathematics-intensive discipline or a similar field. Significant relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education. BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2 Certification Requirements:
DoDD 8570.01-M IAT II or higher AND CCNP Enterprise OR Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) OR MCE OR Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) OR Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Experience Requirements:
At least ten years of multidiscipline experience.
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
System & Network AdministrationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
