Systems Administrator

Summary The Systems Administrator will provide reach back technical support of an interactive virtual training tool for system and network administrators to accomplish Mission Qualification Training. Responsibilities Provide in-depth technical and engineering support assistance to help troubleshoot, diagnose, and document issues with the application throughout the lifecycle. Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Interact with users and evaluates vendor products. Provide an electronic capability for the end user to send emails or messages alerting the Help Desk of any issues. Log, record, and action as appropriate with response time not to exceed one hour from the time the call/request is received. Maintain a trouble ticket reporting system that tracks volume and closure rates of user tickets to ensure timely resolution. Attend and/or facilitate product demonstrations at the request of the user community. Establish, maintain, modify, and administer system and user account policies as well as troubleshoot and correct system problems caused by group policies. Research, specify, estimate, and recommend the hardware required to support the intended server use. Assist in maintaining, sustaining, and updating the current architecture for on-premise application and assist with the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) process. Remediate and fix vulnerability findings continuously throughout the application lifecycle. Provide system administration using Agile methodology. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Associate degree in cybersecurity or related field Bachelor's degree preferred 3
years of experience in cybersecurity or related experience required High school diploma or GED and an additional 2
years of experience may be used in lieu of degree Experience with HBSS and ACAS required Possess baseline IAT-II certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M requirements Background check required with the ability to obtain a secret clearance The position requires a COVID vaccination or an approved accommodation/exemption for a disability/medical condition or religious belief Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge and hands-on experience in developing and implementing in Agile environment. Independent and self-direction skills are highly desired. Ability to solve complex problems utilizing creative thinking skills. Strong communication skills. Ability to critically analyze and understand the systems and communicate system requirements to leadership. Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS as required. Ability to obtain and maintain OCONUS travel documentation. Ability to work nights, weekend, and holidays as required. Ability to maintain and keep a secret security clearance. Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
System & Network AdministrationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
