Position Description:
Novetta is seeking a talented Software Engineer to work on a team solving our customers' most difficult problems.
In this role you will:
Solve complex problems employing Go, JavaScript, Linux, C, C++, PERL, Bash, HTML, Python, and Scripts
Rapidly prototype software and later transform it into a production system
Passionately create systems which will be used and have a major impact
Interact directly with customers and end-users to gather requirements and feedback
Work in a LINUX environment, specifically Redhat 6.X
Experience with processing and managing large data sets
Experience with software development, working independently, inpairs and as part of a team
Basic
Qualifications:
Experience with the implementation of software or web development projects using Agile methodologies in large complex projects in a high-tech development environment with multi-disciplinary teams
Ability to handle more than one project concurrently
Comfort with frequent incremental code testing and deployment, a strong grasp of automation and data management tools
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, people and customer service skills
Desired Skills:
Cassandra database implementation experience
Comptia Security
or CISSP
Ability to write unit tests, refactor existing code and work with existing codebases.
Understand algorithmic complexity, perform runtime analysis and to know when and what to optimize (as required).
BS in Computer Science
Security Clearance:
An active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required
