The primary purpose of this position is to serve as training instructor providing classroom and field instruction to Airborne cryptologic technicians of the Joint Threat Warning system (JTWS) Air and follow-on systems.

### Responsibilities
Conducts hands-on equipment training to include basic and advanced operations, maintenance and troubleshooting, threat evasion, and employment of the national tactical receivers.
Leads classroom and flightline instruction in aircraft and ground safety; ensures curriculum meets relevant Air Force and AFSOC publications and regulations.
Provides hands-on instruction for troubleshooting of equipment and communications malfunctions to include scenarios in simulators, static aircraft, and flying aircraft.
Prepares course materials, insuring proper correlation with control documents and the application of educational principles.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.

INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT (IOR)
Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- education or a subject area related to the position to be filled.
OR-
Experience that demonstrated a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include:
Teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military installation, or industrial establishment in the appropriate field(s).
Supervising or administering a training program.
Development or review of training/course materials, aids, devices, etc., and evaluation of training results.
Work in the occupation or subject-matter field of the position to be filled that required training or instructing others on a regular basis.
In addition to meeting the Individual Occupational Requirement (IOR) above, applicants must also meet the qualifications outlined below.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: Knowledge of the methods, principles, practices, and programs related to curriculum development, instructional techniques and training resources, as well as the principles, techniques, and objectives of test and measurement. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.

EDUCATION: Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related to field.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs ): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of the methods, principles, practices, and programs related to curriculum development, instructional techniques and training resources, as well as the principles, techniques, and objectives of test and measurement.
2. Knowledge of special operations equipment to include Joint Threat Warning System (JTWS) Air, JTWS-Lite, Digital Receiver Technology (DRT), NEBULA, and follow-on systems to include knowledge of communications network, application, and the radio frequency (RF) spectrum.
3. Knowledge of ISR and Special Operations Forces (SOF) mission planning, preparation, execution, and debriefing.
4. Knowledge of aircrew functions and responsibilities to include knowledge of aircraft safety, threat systems/tactics, aircrew resource management, airborne threat warning and enhanced situational awareness, and basic airmanship.
5. Skill in classroom instruction, formal communication, briefing, and personal instruction tailored to individual student requirements.
6. Ability to communicate effectively with other, both orally and in writing, in working out solutions to problems or questions related to work.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE : Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE : Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
