Aircrew Controller (SETA)

This full-time non-supervisory opportunity is located in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Work is performed in a typical office setting.
Job Summary: Extensive background as an aircrew member flying SOF aircraft is mandatory, with a high degree of understanding and knowledge of SOF aircrew procedures to include tactics, techniques and procedures, aircrew training, standardization and evaluation, publications management, life support requirements for aircrew members, exercise management, and mobility requirements for aircrew. Able to oversee and make recommendations to Government officials on the safe execution of AFSOC aircraft. Able to track and monitor suspense systems, screen incoming correspondence (oral and written), review written correspondence for correct classification markings, and ensure decisions and directives are properly disseminated to Government officials. Knowledgeable of Governmental regulations, manuals, technical orders, standards, and publications related to Command and Control. Strong oral and written skills are required. Duties determined by PWS requirements and may include (but not limited) to: MAJCOM-level support analyst, training device synthetic environment support (simulator console operator for all live, virtual and constructed entity management/support), special tactics unit support (squadron to wing level).
Citizenship: U.S.
Security Clearance: Secret
Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree or higher; and,
A minimum of 8 years' experience in related areas.
Specific experience in an AFSOC Wing, Group, or Squadron Current Operations shop is required.
Essential Duties:
Shall be required to work independently, but shall have recourse to direction for events outside the defined scope of the task.
Track and monitor suspense systems, screen incoming correspondence (oral and written), review written correspondence for correct classification markings, and ensure decisions and directives are properly disseminated to Government officials
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
Ability to satisfactorily perform specific, routine tasks within a narrowly defined scope of responsibility on a set timeline.
Knowledgeable of Governmental regulations, manuals, technical orders, standards, and publications related to Command and Control.
Strong oral and written skills are required.
Ability to oversee and make recommendations to Government officials on the safe operation of AFSOC aircraft.

Proficient utilization of Center Scheduling Enterprise and PEX.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
