Analyst (SETA)

This full-time non-supervisory position is located in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Work is performed in a typical office setting.
Job Summary: Analyzes, defines, and documents functional area system requirements. As a member of the project team, generally performs work toward defined project objectives under the general direction of more senior personnel. Project tasks objectives are defined in broad terms and latitude in technical approach is expected. May provide technical or project guidance to other employees on portion of project effort. May also work independently, with responsibility for analysis of problems requiring application of a knowledge base of the area of specialization.
Accomplishes data gathering and analysis in assigned area of responsibility. Presents plans, recommendations, analyses, and other advice within a broad functional area to customers, site managers, & all employee levels within the project. Prepares studies, plans, & analyses in support of the TO.
Citizenship: U.S.
Security Clearance: Secret
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or higher.
A minimum of 8 years' experience in related areas.
An Associate's degree and 10 years' experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
Experience as an AFSOC HQ, Group, or Squadron Requirements or Operations Officer is preferred.
Essential Duties:
Performs assignments in a particular functional discipline when specific objectives are stated and when the number of variables is limited.
Shall be required, with minimal guidance, to work independently on tasks and to exercise reasonable judgment in the execution of tasks and the selection of alternatives.
Presents plans, recommendations, analyses, and other advice within a broad functional area to customers, site managers, & all employee levels within the project.
Prepares studies, plans, & analyses in support of the TO.
Performs data capture and analysis in assigned area of responsibility.
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
Ability to perform assignments in a particular functional discipline when specific objectives are stated and when the number of variables is limited.
Ability to apply appropriate methods and techniques for conducting research and analysis.
Ability to review and analyze data; establish, organize, and present facts and opinions accurately.
Proficient use of MS Office Suite.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
