Senior Advisor (SETA)

This full-time non-supervisory position is located in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Work is performed in a typical office setting.
Job Summary: The Senior Advisor provides advice and technical direction for problem solving at a high level and is a recognized expert in that area. Performs analysis, requirements development, defines problems, develops and recommends solutions, conducts evaluations, performs analytical work in support of systems and or organizations, and possesses specialized knowledge and expertise. Perform as a subject matter expert in one or more of the following domains: AFSOC Surgeon General's directorate, USSOCOM UAS, AFSOC JTAC, AFSOC weapons and tactics, ISD, USAF SOF Plans and Programs, USAF SOF Logistics, systems acquisition and integration, and OT&E.
Citizenship: U.S.
Security Clearance: Secret
Education and Experience:
Master's Degree or higher.
A minimum of 10 years' experience in related areas.
A Bachelor's degree and 22 years' experience may be substituted for a Master's degree.
Deep understanding of AFSOC directorates and functional areas.
Essential Duties:
Maintain full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments.
Shall perform work involving exploration of the subject area, including defining scope, and identifying problems for investigation.
Shall apply extensive and diverse knowledge to problems and make independent decisions (excluding inherently governmental functions) consistent with Task Order (TO) requirements.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively with government PMs and technical SMEs; as well as industry teaming partners.
Capable of rapidly planning and developing projects concerned with unique or controversial items that have a major effect on the program(s).
Ability to distill complex information, ideas, and data into understandable and actionable items that support TO requirements.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
