Personnel Recovery Specialist (A3T)

This non-supervisory position is located at Hurlburt Field, Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Work is performed in a typical office setting. Some CONUS travel required.
Required Skill(s):
Top Secret Clearance.
Must have in-depth knowledge of AFI 10-35, USSOCOM Directive 10-1. 525-21,525-36, 525-39, Air Force Policy Directive 10-30 and Air Force Instruction 10-3001.
Preferred Graduate of Joint Personnel Recovery Agency courses, PR Plans and Operations (PRP&O) course (PR301) and completion of Reintegration Team Responsibilities (PR 296); in addition to being a graduate of a service level C Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) school is highly desired.
Former HH-60, HC-130 rescue aircrew will be considered.
Citizenship Requirement: U.S.
Education & Experience: Bachelors Degree, any field. 2yrs operational experience in Personnel Recovery with AFSOC and the Air Combat Command, combined.
Essential duties:
Assists AFSOC/A3O to formulate, plan, direct and carry to completion a variety of analyses and/or works as a team member on specific problems of studies involving personnel recovery.
Establishes assumptions, measures of effectiveness, and evaluates the range of alternatives to seek out efficiencies across organization, training, equipping, and employment of PR capabilities.
Applies a variety of analytical techniques to formulate and solve problems.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
