INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST

This is a GG- 13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-13 duties for the Professional work category are at the Senior work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job. THIS IS AN AIR RESERVE TECHNICIAN (ART) POSITION ARTs are part of the regular career civil service and enjoy all the benefits granted to Federal employees in the competitive civil service. In addition, ARTs are required to maintain their active membership in the Air Force (AF0 Reserve unit where assigned. ARTs receive on average one weekend of military training per month. They are eligible for 15 days active duty tour each year for which military leave is granted with full civilian pay. Applicant must possess quality level experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Quality experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Examples of creditable experience include fully qualified and experienced intelligence officer preferably having operational experience. Note:

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Must be fully qualified and experienced intelligence officer preferably having operational experience in at least two of the below intelligence disciplines/operations:
HUMINT, GEOINT/MASINT, SIGINT, All-Source Analysis/Fusion Analysis, DCGS, Targeting, Acquisition Intelligence, collection management, analytical production management, and dissemination. Experience desired in ISR operations, and TCPED of national, Global Hawk, U2 and Predator/Reaper Platforms, as one of the two ISR operational areas. 2. Senior level knowledge of world-wide ISR operational requirements and associated processes to support Combatant Commands and Theater Air Force Component Commands and understanding of ISR concepts, capabilities, and operations. Knowledge must also include laws, regulations, policies, and precedents which affect Flight ISR operational programs and related support resources. 3. Knowledge of and ability to formulate operational and training plans and policies pertaining to ISR operations and training and unit operational and training activities. 4. Knowledge of advanced management and organizational principles and practices and major issues, program goals, missions, functions, administrative operations of the ISR Group, 10 AF, and HQ AFRC. 5. Knowledge and understanding of a comprehensive range of staff concepts, objectives, policies, management/organizational techniques, and military command. 6. Ability to gather, assemble, and analyze facts, draw conclusions, conduct analysis, devise recommended solutions, and package the entire process in briefings, papers, or reports suitable for top management use and decision-making (to include civilian and military). 7. Knowledge of operational and training programs throughout the group in order to conduct studies, analyze findings, and make recommendations on substantive operating programs. 8. Ability to plan and organize workload and activities, manage multiple taskings, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. 9. Ability to integrate Air Force Reserves into ISR operations and maintenance missions to include training while ensuring command/control oversight and tasking authorities are properly executed. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
