DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides clerical and administrative support to management by providing a wide variety of clerical and administrative support duties related to day to day operations and maintenance of recreational facilities and oversees administrative matters of the customer service area. Prepares outgoing correspondence, answers telephone and personal inquiries regarding reservations of the Outdoor Recreation facilities, rental equipment, and recreational areas, waiting lists, equipment use, and program events. Coordinates and schedules social/team events. Responsible for the operation of check-out equipment, including inventory, issuing, receiving and checking for damage upon return and takes reservations of recreation areas. Recommends addition or deletion of equipment and resale merchandise based on customer usage. Assists in facility key control. Responsible for cash register operations including cash collections, receipts and cashier reports. Takes inventory of all resale, office, and cashier supplies and orders as necessary. Efficiently reviews and consolidates cost center and cashier reports from other sub-activities, prepares and makes bank deposits as required, controls change funds and reconciles subsidiary accounts. Prepares purchase orders, receiving reports, and statistical and financial data. Reconciles subsidiary accounts monthly with NAF accounting office. Prepares statistical and financial data. Utilizes computer software programs, internet and intranet to prepare various reports for director's review and performs a variety of accounting duties outdoor recreation director and NAF Accounting office review. Maintains all aspects of the advance payment record to include monitoring payments, sending expiration and late notices and ensuring proper records. Assists in preparation of T& A records and informs payroll of discrepancies; tracks labor hours to insure compliance with AF regulations. Maintains and organizes records and employee files, general information, current regulations and suspense system. Monitors use and repair or replacement of all office and cashier equipment to include service calls and estimates of replacement with IT. Maintains communication and coordinates with marketing regarding updates and marketing needs on the Outdoor Recreation website for widest dissemination. progressive office experience and resale operations which provides a working knowledge and understanding of outdoor recreation activities such as but not limited to:
RV storage lots, Fam-camp, boats, rental equipment, camping equipment, etc. Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer programs such as but not limited to Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook. Experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit and other processing of cash items and use of cash accountability control methods. Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping. Must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing to include but not limited to:
the knowledge of grammar, spelling, and ability to professionally deal with the public and difficult situations, etc. Must able to read, write, and speak English. Ability to type 40 words per minute.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
