TRAINING INSTRUCTOR (COMMAND AND CONTROL)

This is a Term position NTE 2 year; the individual selected for this position may be extended without further competition. Current Federal civilian employees may apply for this position using Reinstatement eligibility and if selected, a break in service of at least 4 calendar days may be required prior to appointment to this position. In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions, for the Training Instruction Series, 1712. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-11, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include:
1) Teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military installation, or industrial establishment in the appropriate field(s). 2) Supervising or administering a training program. 3) Development or review of training/course materials, aids, devices, etc., and evaluation of training results. 4) Work in the occupation or subject-matter field of the position to be filled that required training or instructing others on a regular basis. FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS:
Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in- grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-11 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. In-depth practical knowledge of the methods and techniques of instruction in order to administer, evaluate, and develop one or more courses in a formal training school environment. 2. Ability to develop materials and conduct training in support of assigned programs, operations, weapon systems, and personnel readiness for major military operations such as war, mobilization, deployment, exercise, ISR, Security, Special Operations, command and control, rescue, or similar areas. 3. Ability to understand and assess Air Force and command program goals and objectives; the sequence and timing of key operational events and milestones; methods of evaluating the effectiveness of planning actions related to actual events; and the relationship of the various command entities involved in overall program planning and execution of military operations and evaluation of the same. 4. Knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to participate in the assessment and improvement of training programs. 5. Skill to develop course materials and instructional methods, principles, and techniques in order to instruct self-contained training courses, obtain training resources and assess overall effectiveness in meeting established training requirements. Skill to communicate effectively both orally and in writing as an instructor and course developer at a formal training school. 6. Ability to negotiate complex issues; and maintain good working relationships. PART-TIME OR UNPAID

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
